Imagine having the Louvre all to yourself! I arrived over 2 hours before its scheduled opening. Rows of barricades kept me far away. I was able to get the attention of a security officer. I explained what I had envisioned, and he graciously allowed me past all of the barricades for a few minutes. Sometimes I get so focused on my camera, the settings, and all the technical aspects. However this time I allowed myself a moment to just stare at Louvre and take it all in. Thankfully I was able to capture the moment for myself and to share with you.
